Madison, WI

How do you typically introduce yourself to new people?
So lovely to meet you, my name is Louise.

What’s one thing you wish more people knew about you?
What motivates me in my life and in my work is the desire to connect & help people.

Who do you help?
Professionally, I support small and midsize businesses with HR services. Personally, I try to support people in my community by bringing people together and making introductions.

What are you building now?
About two years ago, I made a significant career pivot from nonprofit leadership to Insperity. I was a client of Insperity’s for many years so that knowledge and experience has been tremendous. That being said, it is both humbling and exciting to start over professionally and I am so grateful for all the new relationships that have come into my life over the past two years including a very special connection with Shelisa. I reached out to her over LinkedIn, she accepted my lunch invitation and we have been supporting each other ever since😊.

What were you building ten years ago today?
Ten years ago, I just had my fourth child and was at home with my kid’s full-time.

What do you predict of yourself 10 years from now?
Wow. My husband and I have a hard time looking ahead more then a week with four kid schedules. Whatever I am doing, I hope to be helping people, learning new things and making a positive impact on my community.

What’s a fact or statistic you wish everyone knew about your industry?
I would say it’s more of a phrase or mantra-- You don’t know what you don’t know and if you find yourself with a skill/knowledge gap, look to experts for support and resources. It brings me such joy when I hear clients reflect on the time they have back in their day, their ability to grow the business and the support and expertise they receive from Insperity.

Why do you believe the work you do matters?
Insperity’s mission is “To Help Businesses Succeed So Communities Prosper”. I am deeply committed to this mission and think about it daily in my work.

Who is your mentor and what is the best advice they’ve given you?
Strong women are my mentors. I love the advice to take time to reflect each day and be open to change and new experiences.

What piece of content about you or your company are you most proud of?
This video from a DEI event I hosted in October.

What publication do you hope to appear in next?
I am honored to be featured as an ICON.

This is so outside my comfort zone that I haven’t thought about it.

The Power of Helping Others.

Anything that recognizes the way I support and care for others.
